Go Karting (St Eval, Cornwall)
July 2008 I had a go on the go karts at St. Eval, Cornwall, England.
They're pretty fast (for an "Arrive and Drive" venue).
I had loads of fun, espcially trying to get it sideways for the camera!

Boys Go Karting
Kids first time Go Karting. Isabel was having a sleepover with Lily so we took the boys to the indoor race track Eurokart in Bartenheim France. It was quite empty and we managed to convince the (very kind) Frenchman to let Simon in an adult kart drive at the same time as Robert and Jonathan in the kiddy karts. The man told me to tell Simon that since he could drive faster than the boys he was to go slower and not chase them!

Go Karts In Taiwan
Outside of Taipei in a small place near Dasi Township I found this Go Kart Track. They have single seater Go Karts as well as two seaters so you can take your kiddies. The cool thing about the two seaters is that they have two steering wheels and what is even better is that they both function so you can let your kiddie drive around the track, but you can grab your wheel in case something unexpected happens...

homemade go kart
I built this go-kart in about 6 weeks from a combination of parts including: a salvaged snowblower, a department store pants rack, a metal sawhorse and a mix of parts from TSC.

Go Kart, Go Cart Kinroad 250cc prototype go kart

Jamie Little & Stanton Barrett at Pole Position Raceway
Pole Position Raceway gave a chance to all there customers to come and race against Jamie Little (ESPN reporter), Stanton Barrett (NASCAR racer) , Ricky James (MX rider). A local radio station (KCAL 96.7)was also there broadcasting live giving away tickets to NASCAR and other cool things.
